RAIDO x OSS The Red Sixty Seven Longboard Fin
The 1967 era of surfboard design remains an influential source of ideas for many alternative surfboard builders. Jarryd Watson OSS spent six years constructing and evaluating the Sixty Seven longboard fin, which pulls together the most advantageous characteristics of the classic vee-bottom shapes. The result is a highly-refined single fin that strikes the ideal balance.
Designed for critical fade take-offs, jamming bottom turns, and putting a board on rail, but still surprisingly good while on the nose in the right craft!
The Sixty Sevens refined flex tip and continual smooth rake make it an explosive rudder begging to be pushed to the absolute limits in a large variety of craft requiring some extra zing without your fin blowing out.
Also worth acknowledging is that it's perfectly suited for longboards in hollow or longer-line waves, such as Rainbow Bay, when pivot fins can't provide the needed forward drive and projection.
